Write a function that calculates the sum of all integers in a list. If the list is empty or null, return 0.
Examples:
Input: numbers = [5, 10, 3, 8, 15]
Output: 41
Explanation: 5 + 10 + 3 + 8 + 15 = 41
Input: numbers = [-5, 10, -3, 0, 7]
Output: 9
Explanation: -5 + 10 + -3 + 0 + 7 = 9
