Reverse the characters of each word in a sentence while preserving the original word order and spaces. Return empty string for empty input. Return null for null input.
Examples:
Input: sentence = "Hello World"
Output: "olleH dlroW"
Explanation: Each word is reversed, order is preserved
Input: sentence = "A B"
Output: "A B"
Explanation: Single letter words remain the same and spaces are preserved
