Examples:

Output: true
Explanation: After removing non-alphanumeric characters and converting to lowercase, "amanaplanacanalpanama" reads the same forwards and backwards.
Input: str = "race a car"
Output: false
Explanation: After cleaning, "raceacar" is not a palindrome.
