Given a list of integers, sort it in ascending order and return the maximum difference between two successive elements. Return 0 when the list is null or has fewer than two elements.
Examples:
Input: nums = [3, 6, 9, 1]
Output: 3
Explanation: Sorted is [1, 3, 6, 9], the gaps are 2, 3, 3 and the max is 3
Input: nums = [10, 3, 5]
Output: 5
Explanation: Sorted is [3, 5, 10], the gaps are 2 and 5 and the max is 5
Input: nums = [1, 1, 1]
Output: 0
Explanation: All values are equal so every gap is 0
Input: nums = [7]
Output: 0
Explanation: Fewer than two elements returns 0
Input: nums = null
Output: 0
Explanation: Null input returns 0
